Tonight Jonathan Newey came to Virginia Water Art Society to Demonstrate painting a tigers head in Acrylic we enjoyed the demonstration immensely and discovered a new technique for painting animal fur and a way to utilise our old worn brushes also Jonathan demonstrated his method of glazing which certainly added depth to the fur quite often animals are painted in pastels because its easy to get the effect of fur especially with pastel pencil but Jonathan showed us all how to use acrylics to a much greater effect.
