It was a pleasure to meet Councillor Jonathan Hulley when he came to visit the Virginia Water Art Society Exhibition on Saturday 5th June Jonathan together with a number of personnel  at both Surrey County Council and Runnymede Borough Council were instrumental in helping get the who on the road so a big thank you to them

What a brilliant day we had at Virginia Water Art Society on the Green at Station Approach on Saturday 5th June.  The sun was out all day and the visitors came with it, 16 Stall were displaying everything from original paintings to hand turned wooden bowls and Sculptures in Resin.

The green was a hive of activity all day and visitors and exhibitors thoroughly enjoyed themselves, after what has been a difficult time for everyone a little bit of normality was just what was ordered.. The visitors enjoyed picking original gifts and the Artists were able to sell some of their work, which in the coming months will be put to good use as we plan our Autumn Exhibition on 4th September where we hope to have a whole new batch of work thanks to the sales made last Saturday.
