VIRGINIA WATER ART SOCIETY SUMMER EXHIBITION ON THE GREEN 1.6.13

What a fabulous day we had at the summer exhibition on the green at Virginia Water after a week or more of heavy rain the sun came out on the 1st June  and we had one of the best days ever. we had 27 Artists exhibiting plus crafts and we exceeded last years sales, we had some wonderful comments from our visitors who said they really enjoyed the displays and although it is all about displaying the work we have been doing over the year it is true that selling your work is the ultimate compliment and this year we exceeded our expectations and sold 37 paintings over the course of the day which is amazing considering that all art Societies are reporting low sales in the present climate, so we are thrilled with our result.
