Tony Jackson spoke to the members of Virginia Water Art Society about the origins of modern art and showed slides of paintings by many famous Artists who were in their time quite modern and sometimes considered outrageous in the work they produced. Tony gave us some insight into the inspiration and historical background surrounding some of the works of art and a lively discussion took place which we all enjoyed immensely. Tony then showed us some slides of his own work which we all found very interesting
