The Demonstration this evening by Rosemary Miller was very well attended Rosemary Painted a still life of lilies in watercolour her demonstration was very informative and everyone enjoyed watching her and admired her work.

Robin Mackervoy 7.4.10 still life in oils

Robin Mackervoy came to demonstrate still life at Virginia Water Art Society today and was warmly welcomed by the Society members and visitors who came to see his demonstration he was using oils and was able to give us lots of information tips about using oils , unfortunately time ran out before he had finished the painting but we thoroughly enjoyed his demonstration

After the last demonstration by Phil Madley some of the painters decided to get together and try out encaustic wax painting and here are our first efforts.
