Demonstration by Hashim Akib 1.6.22

What a treat to have Hashim Akib Demonstrate for us tonight fantastic artist, his street scene started of as blocks of colour on the canvas Hashim  described his thought process as he went along giving us lots of information about the materials used, his unique painting methods have been appreciated by many in the Artist and Illustrator and the SAA.  The audience watched, amazed at how quickly from the blocks of colour appeared figures resembling the reference photograph he used, they just seemed to materialise in front of our eyes. Great Demo thank you Hashim

Demonstration By Joel Wareing Cafe Scene in Pastels

Virginia Water Art Society invited Joel Wareing to demonstrate at the monthly meeting on 6th April 2022. His pastel painting of a cafe scene was brilliant, his method of using the pastels to create layers of  pastel marks of dark and light overlapping them to create light shade and form was amazing we all thoroughly enjoyed his demonstration.  Thank you Joel
