Summer Exhibition

The Summer Exhibition on the Green at Virginia Water would have taken place on 7th July if we had had any summer at all we tried again on 14th of July but still there was no let up in the rain 


So we will hold our Summer Exhibition  in the autumn!!!!!
Saturday 8th September by then we are hoping the English Summer will have arrived!!

This was the Picture at Virginia Water at 10:30am this morning 7th July good job we decided to postpone the Exhibition on the Green until next Saturday 14th July hopefully we will be more fortunate with the weather next week and we will be able to go ahead with the planned Summer Exhibition on the Green at Station Approach Virginia Water. we are sorry to have disappointed the public who always support the event and hope to see them next week.

Demonstration by Sue McLearie Wire Sculptures

Today Virginia Water Art Society were treated to a very different demonstration by Sue McLearie who came to share with us the making of animal sculptures using wire and paper.  We all found the demonstration very interesting and were very tempted to go home and try for ourselves,  The animals that Sue has produced were very well constructed and would give lost of room for artistic license when trying them out for ourselves   A very entertaining evening was had by all the members who attended.
