Virginia Water Art Society Wintere 2013 Exhibition

We were very lucky to have Peter Waddell Deputy Mayor of Runnymede come to visit the Exhibition this year and even more luck that Peter not only appreciates art but as a pass time likes to sketch and paint so his opinion on the best painting in the show was from an experienced eye.  Peter chose 6 personal favourites and one over all best in show painting which was a sketch of a Cyclamen by Wendy Trinder

We had a wonderful weekend with quite a few visitors we provided tea & cakes and received some lovely comments on the show and the standard of work. we sold 8 paintings and lots of crafts and felt the results were encouraging
