Virginia Water Art Society were extremely luck to have welcomed the Mayor of Runnymede to our Winter exhibition held at the Community Centre Trumps Green on Saturday 3rd December 2011. We asked the Mayor Cllr David Par to choose his favourite painting and during his walk through the exhibition he placed printed cards of commendation on paintings he felt had earned a special mention The Favourite painting of the Mayors was "The Wave" by Marie Cook (see Paintings by Marie Cook)
